The hotel was a relaxing base for enjoying a cute area, really close to the centre of Arnside village a short 1 minute walk to the Albion pub and restaurant as well as a terraced pub. It was in a peaceful location with fantastic views over garden...

Absolutely loved the place! Our room was comfy and oh-so clean, with lovely little extras like fresh milk in the mini fridge. The location couldn't be better-just a hop to the front and fabulous views everywhere!
Only thing? The pub next door got a bit rowdy-thought I was back in my student days!

The Beautiful King Room boasted beautiful, stylish shutters that contributed to the overall cozy atmosphere. With ample natural light and a well-designed layout, it offered a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure.
The experience with the room's macerator system was a bit disruptive, especially during nighttime needs. The pre-ordered breakfast routine generated some pressure to decide on meals the night before. The nearby pub's late-night crowd introduced a fair amount of noise until after midnight, which might be a bother for light sleepers. While the room had a lovely ambiance, the £150 nightly rate felt a touch steep for the overall offerings in a quieter locale like this. Just a few things to think about before you book your stay.

The house is beautifully decorated and super tidy. The attention to detail, like fresh milk in my room. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Better soundproofing from pub noise would be nice.

My stay was for a wedding weekend, and I enjoyed a lovely experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a great view. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the overnight oats! The house is also conveniently located close to the promenade and shops, making it easy to explore the area.

Spent a fantastic weekend with friends! We enjoyed hiking during the day and then chilled at the outdoor tennis court. The area is perfect for bird watching and cycling too. The place was clean, cozy, and had a friendly vibe . Highly recommend!
The only downside was the limited parking space, tricky when we all returned at the same time.
